Description of the initiative
The project "Building capacity for effective participation in the Biosafety Clearing House" is a follow up to project "Development of a National Biosafety Framework for Albania". The Biosafety Clearing House is a mechanism created by the Cartagena Protocol , in order to assist the parties in fulfilling obligations that arise from this Protocol and exchange information in Genetically Modified Organisms. The Biosafety Clearing House enables users to share a common site to receive and to supply information.
